Crystal Black has experienced tragedy recently and we are asking for your help, generosity and donations. Hemingway's will be the spot for this all day event with free hot dogs, hamburgers, and Zorba's Greek Salad, raffles and an auction. Plus, there will be 6 bands performing including Mudfish, Will Erickson, Ricky Page Band, Loose Change, Radiodogs and Weekend Bender. Saturday, August 15. Battle of Camden Remembrance Day. In honor of the 229th anniversary of the Battle of Camden, experience Camden August 16, 1780 -- a town under the thumb of British redcoats. Several British units perform Crimes & Punishment, a spellbinding skit of events pertaining to the battle. Performances will be at 10:30, 12:00, 2:15 and 3:30. Hands-on kids' activities, light refreshments, and a riveting documentary on the Patriots' worst battle defeat complete this fun-filled family outing. Admission is free (donations always welcome!).
