Lexington South Carolina FunFest 2009 September 18 and 19th, 2009 at the Lexington Town Complex Free concerts, food and fun at our annual Lexington Funfest. Come out and enjoy a great family time this weekend and bring the lawn chairs. Funfest is held annually during the month of September in Lexington SC. It is filled with many activities for festival attendees—a beauty pageant, golf tournament, 5K Run/Fun walk, bass fishing tournament, student art show, DooDah Parade, quality vendors, a variety of food, amusement rides and games for all ages. The Headliner entertainment on both Friday and Saturday nights attracts large crowds.

South Carolina Gamecocks VS the Florida Atlantic Owls
Saturday, Sep 19 7:00p at University of South Carolina: Williams-Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC Gamecock football is a time honored event with southern style tailgating with lots of great food and fun for all ages. Many have said that there is no better place to tailgate in the SEC football conference. One of my favorite spots is The Coop. Go Cocks!

Jamie Foxx's "Blame It Tour" Friday, Sep 18 8:00p at University of South Carolina: Colonial Life Arena, Columbia, SC. Jamie Foxx, the triple threat, takes the stage on a 50-city North American Tour. Manhatton Short Film Festival
Tuesday, Sep 22 6:00p at Nickelodeon Theatre, Columbia, SC The 2009 Manhattan Short will be held in over 150 cities across the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Australia between the 20th and 27th of September 2009. The Manhattan Shorts mission is to unite audiences from all seven continents of the globe for one week via the twelve most compelling short films submitted each year.

The Fall State Directors Challenge Looking for some great youth baseball? Weekend play time for Saturday and Sunday games are posted. USSSA

2009 South Carolina State Fair October 14-25, 2009.
It's that time of year...the SC State Fair is coming to town. Come out and bring the whole family for a day and night of fun, rides, food and games. Buy your ticket early for the grandstand concerts as with this venue they sell out fast. Charlie Daniels,Toby Mac and Montgomery Gentry are just a few.

Again there are some great Things to do in Lexington South Carolina and its capitol city Columbia this weekend.
