The Lexington County SC Green Business Certification Program has been approved by County Council! The goal of the program is to recognize businesses who are environmental good stewards in the areas of waste reduction, recycling, energy efficiency, water conservation and air quality.
To introduce the program, the Public Works and Solid Waste Departments will be holding a Lexington County SC Green Business Seminar on November 20, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia SC. Lunch will be provided. Click here for more information.
