Keep the Midlands Beautiful annual Lexington South Carolina Grinding of the Greens will take place December 26, 2009 through January 8, 2010 at the following locations: In Lexington County SC, Christmas trees will be accepted for recycling at the Edmund Landfill, Crooked Creek Park in Chapin, Hollow Creek Tree Farm in Gilbert, Saxe Gotha Presbyterian Church in Lexington, and Seven Oaks Park in Columbia. Free mulch will be available Saturday January 9th, 9 a.m. until it runs out at Seven Oaks Park.
