I conjunction with Palmetto Health Cancer center in Columbia South Carolina Acquire Real Estate and Laura Jefferson took on and adopted a patient for the Christmas needs. Delivering bags of gifts and food to this wonderful lady was more than we could ever have hoped for. We enjoy giving.

Cancer is a devastating disease. I have been affected alot over the last few years by this disease and just feel that its such a worthy cause.

Great post! Besides meeting a need, it's amazing how much helping someone who is ill or needy impresses your children, too. They will always remember and replicate the kindness as they get older. Good job and Happy New Year!
You know, giving never gets old. It truly is more blessed to give than to receive.
What a great thing for all of you. Mrs. Mary gets a Christmas, your kids learn more about the true spirit of Christmas and you get the benefit of both. I'm trying to teach my 5 year old the concept of gratitude, and perhaps this would be a good way.
Getting Children involved does make them think about giving more. It was fun!
Laura,
I was born in Baptist Hospital in the dark ages, and CIU and USC are my Alma Maters. (That can't be the correct plural for Alma Mater. LOL)
In college, I worked with some of the nursing homes there in Columbia, and it's wonderful to see that you and your family do this today. God bless you!
